Launch of a 1,150 TPD-Scale Waste-to-Energy Project in Two Cities in Indonesia

MOU Signed with BOSOWA ENERGASINDO (BOSOWA Group)

On January 13, 2026, BIOTECHWORKS-H2 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BOSOWA ENERGASINDO (BOSOWA Group) to promote Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects in Makassar and Parepare, located in eastern Indonesia.

This project aims to process a total of 1,150 tons of waste per day, consisting of 1,000 tons per day in Makassar and 150 tons per day in Parepare. In collaboration with BOSOWA’s Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) business, the project will complement existing RDF initiatives by converting organic waste that is difficult to process into RDF into energy through BIOTECHWORKS-H2’s proprietary scheme. This approach is expected to create a mutually beneficial business model for both parties.

A Feasibility Study (F/S) is scheduled to begin in February 2026, followed by the execution of the definitive agreement. Construction is planned to commence in Q3 2026, with the goal of achieving commercial plant operation by Q4 2027.
