BIOTECHWORKS-H2 is pleased to announce that the feasibility study (F/S) for a commercial-scale Waste-to-Energy (WtE) project in South Sulawesi, Indonesia—being jointly promoted with PT Kilau Energi Abadi Hijau (hereinafter “KEAH”), the renewable energy arm of the BOSOWA Group—has entered the execution phase.

This project plans two facilities: a large-scale site processing 1,000 tons per day and a mid-scale site processing 150 tons per day. Three key milestones have been achieved: identification and on-site verification of candidate construction locations introduced by local governments, initiation of waste composition analysis, and finalization of the FS/FEED schedule.

Going forward, based on the results of the F/S, the project will transition in stages toward the execution of definitive agreements and plant construction. By simultaneously deploying a 1,000-ton/day large-scale urban model and a 150-ton/day community-based model, the project aims to demonstrate a scalable WtE model for expansion across Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region.
