Our five projects\u2014three in Indonesia and two in Malaysia\u2014represent the highest number among private-sector companies participating on the Japanese side, including publicly listed companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Featured Projects: Five Initiatives in Indonesia and Malaysia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Project in Makassar, Eastern Indonesia<\/strong><br>Partner: PT BOSOWA ENERGASINDO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Project in Parepare, Eastern Indonesia<\/strong><br>Partner: PT BOSOWA ENERGASINDO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research and Development, Techno-Economic Feasibility Study, and Sustainable Energy Demonstration for an Integrated Pretreatment and Waste-to-Energy Gasification System<\/strong><br>Partner: Research Center for Energy Conversion Technology (PRTKE), Research Organization for Energy and Manufacture, National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BRIN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cooperation Project on Waste-to-Energy and Hydrogen Businesses in Malaysia<\/strong><br>Partners: EURASIA EXPRESS SDN BHD and HUALANG ENERGY SDN BHD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cooperation Project on Waste-Derived Hydrogen in Kedah, Malaysia<\/strong><br>Partner: HUALANG ENERGY SDN BHD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on BIOTECHWORKS-H2\u2019s own tally of METI\u2019s MOU project list. \u201cPrivate-sector companies\u201d excludes governments and government-related organizations, including incorporated administrative agencies and government-affiliated financial institutions, from the Japanese-side participants. Project and partner names above are English renderings of the names provided in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIOTECHWORKS-H2 will advance these projects under the AZEC
